As an Optical Assembly Process Engineer, you become part of the NVIDIA R&D team, and you will be working on the forefront of the communication technology, building the interconnection infrastructure for the Sophisticated Computing and Artificial Intelligence revolution.
What you'll be doing:
Participate in the process of bringing up a new technology from the R&D stage, to the engineering and bring-up then to the high volume manufacturing lines.
Characterizing and investigating of the compatibility of new adhesives, soldering material, packaging material, etc. , to the optical, interconnect products.
Running both quick and organized experiments related to materials, using dispensing and UV curing tools.
Running scanning electron microscope for many hours.
Help in the debug of failures using various methods inspection and characterization methods.
What we need to see:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Materials Engineering / Chemical Engineering.
2 years of experience as a process engineer in the semiconductor, optics, or PCB industry.relevant experience on materials, especially adhesives and their characterization tools.
Patience in working with scanning electron microscopy for many hours.
Good ability to learn new things and conducting mini-research.
Well-organized in gathering experiments data, analysis and summary.
Good presentation skills.
Teamwork player as well as a sole worker.
High level of English (Speak, read and write)
Ways to stand out of a crowd:
Experience in a development environment.
Background in SEM and other methods
Experience in running lab experiments, analysis and presentation.
