Minimum qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field of study.
• Experience programming in either Java, C++, or Python.

Preferred qualifications:

• Completed or currently taking two or more Computer Science-related courses or modules.
• Interest in, and ability to, learn coding languages as needed.

Description

Google is invested in increasing the number of future computer scientists and software developers, particularly those who are historically underrepresented in the field. The Associate Software Developer Intern aims to bridge the gap between academic studies and a professional internship. The 12-week program offers students the opportunity to work on a software project alongside other Associate Software Developer interns, with the support of full-time Googlers and a mentor. You will also attend weekly trainings to enhance your technical and professional skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge gained in computer science courses to complex challenges.
• Complete a technical project with a team of Googlers and otherAssociate Software Developer interns.
• Enhance coding skills by using tools and programming languages.
• Attend training sessions to build your professional skills.
